This is a betamacOS version on Late 2020 MacBook Air, Late 2020 MacBook Pro, and 2020 Mac Mini. – Devices purchased from the Apple store during Nov – Dec 2020 have macOS version 11.0 (20A2411) preinstalled. In the interim,we have a workaround of performing an update to MacOS Mojave, and then upgrading to Catalina (10.15.5). – Issues have been found in upgrading from macOS 10.13.6 to 10.15.5. It’s notalways required to update the DMG version on every macOS update but check here for accurate information.
